Optimal health is absolutely achievable and affordable, even in today’s modern world. Allyson is determined to pass on evidence-based information to show you that nutritious food has the great potential to prevent and, in some cases, even heal illness and disease.
The underlying foundation that will lead to better food choices will be the knowledge of how significant the consumption of nutrient dense food is for overall healthy living.
The message that FOOD IS MEDICINE needs to be present in our society! Individuals and families should have as many resources as possible to learn about the beneficial properties of wholesome fruits and vegetables, and how to reconnect with the earth by growing and cooking with them.

There have been obvious improvements in nutrition guidance over the past several years, yet it is apparent that these recommendations are not effective enough in swaying the dietary decisions of the general public. This is why it is imperative to grow our pool of evidence-based knowledge surrounding health and nutrition, and spread it throughout our communities.
